Teetwal, Sep 13 (JKNS): Principal Secretary Home, J&K Government, Shri Chandraker Bharti, accompanied by senior officials, visited the historic Sharda Temple at the Line of Control in Teetwal on Saturday, where he offered prayers and interacted with members of the Save Sharda Committee.

He was accompanied by his wife, senior officials, and police officers. Upon arrival at the temple, he was received by Coordinator Ajaz Khan and offered prayers at the shrine.

On the occasion, the Chairman of the Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (Regd.) welcomed the visit and presented Shri Bharti with a Sharda shawl and a copy of a book on Sharda authored by Ravinder Pandita.

Shri Bharti appreciated the efforts of the Save Sharda Committee for reconstructing the Sharda Temple and Gurudwara after 75 years and hailed their contribution towards preserving the region’s cultural and spiritual heritage
