FIR Registered Over Hazratbal Emblem Incident, Says Police

Srinagar, Sep 6 (JKNS): Police on Saturday said that a formal case has been registered in connection with Friday’s incident at the revered Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar.

Police sources told news agency JKNS that an FIR No. 76/2025 has been registered at Police Station Nigeen under sections 300, 352, 191(2), 324(4), 196, 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section (2) of the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1971.
