Srinagar Police Warns Against Rumour-Mongering on Flood Management

Says strict action to be taken against those spreading false information

Srinagar, Sep 5 (JKNS): In view of certain misleading reports being circulated on social media regarding flood management, Srinagar Police on Friday issued a public advisory, urging people to refrain from spreading unverified information and cooperate with authorities.

Police spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNSIt has come to the notice of Srinagar Police that certain false and misleading reports regarding flood management in the District are being circulated on social media platforms.
