Kashmir University, CU Srinagar Postpone Sept 6 Exams Amid Inclement Weather

Kashmir University Postpones All Exams Scheduled for Today

Srinagar, Sep 5 (JKNS): University of Kashmir on Friday announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for September 6, 2025, in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions.

In a notification issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, KU as per news agency JKNS said the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students. “The fresh date/s for the conduct of postponed papers shall be notified separately,” the notification reads.

Meanwhile, Cluster University Srinagar had earlier also announced the postponement of its examinations slated for the same date.

In an official notice issued by its Controller of Examinations, the university said, “In view of inclement weather conditions and as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of the students, it is hereby informed that all the examinations of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled on 06-09-2025 are hereby postponed.”

Fresh dates for the postponed Cluster University exams shall also be notified separately, the notification added. (JKNS)
