Srinagar, Sep 4 (JKNS): Authorities on Thursday said that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, Mughal Road and Sinthan Road continue to remain closed due to weather-related disruptions, while restoration work is in progress.

A traffic official as per news agency JKNS said that Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, Mughal Road, Sinthan Road is closed and restoration work is underway.

People have been advised not to undertake any journey on these routes until the clearance work is completed. “Don’t pay heed to rumours. Movement of traffic on Sonamarg-Srinagar-Gumri (SSG) road is going on as per advisory,” it added.

The advisory further asked commuters to check real-time updates on the official social media handles of the J&K Traffic Police and Traffic Control Units (TCUs) before planning their travel. (JKNS)
