Srinagar, Sep 3 (JKNS): Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday announced that the National Medical Commission (NMC) has sanctioned 190 additional MBBS seats for Jammu and Kashmir, covering five medical colleges for the upcoming 2025–26 session.
Taking to X, Sakina as per news agency JKNS said the Letter of Permission was granted following the intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Calling it a major milestone, the minister said the move will strengthen both medical education and healthcare services across the region. (JKNS)
