‘Follow Traffic Rules for Safer Roads,’ ARTO Anantnag Tells Applicants

Anantnag, Sep 1 (JKNS): Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Anantnag, Mubashir Jan, on Monday interacted with applicants appearing for the driving test in the district and stressed the importance of following traffic rules.

Addressing the applicants, the ARTO, as per news agency JKNS, said that safe driving practices and strict adherence to road safety norms were vital to ensure the protection of both drivers and the public. He reminded them that the driving test was being conducted in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act and must be taken seriously.

Mubashir Jan made it clear that no middleman or agent was authorised to interfere in the process. “Applicants must come directly and appear for the test on their own,” he said, adding that the entire exercise was being held under strict supervision to ensure transparency.

He further underlined that road safety was a shared responsibility and urged drivers to act responsibly on the roads. (JKNS)
