He noted that the deadline for the projects was approaching and urged executing agencies to speed up the pace. “As the timeline is gradually nearing, the works must be expedited to meet stipulated deadlines,” he stressed.

The Div Com further asked officials to resolve issues between departments without delay. “To achieve the established targets on time, officers must project inter-agency hurdles for early resolution and smooth execution of projects,” he said.

On the development of infrastructure for electric buses, Garg directed, “SSCL must take winter weather conditions into account while developing closed bus stops.”

He also instructed for “full operationalisation of ITMS cameras and other IT-related services of the ICCC at the earliest.”

Officials informed the meeting that out of 161 sanctioned projects, 153 have been completed, while work on 8 others is in progress.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner SMC Fazlul Haseeb, Chief Engineers of I&FC, KPDCL, PWD R&B, and SSCL, along with other senior officers. (JKNS)
