Ganderbal, Aug 30 (JKNS): The annual Gangbal Yatra was flagged off on Saturday from Naranag in Ganderbal district in the presence of senior civil and police officials.
Details available with news agency JKNS, the ceremony was led by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, who was joined by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Jatin Kishore and SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmed Poswal.
Speaking to media persons Div Com Garg lauded the efforts of the Kashmiri Pandit community for reviving the pilgrimage over the years.
He said the district administration, police, and army extend full support to the yatra every year and similar arrangements have been put in place to ensure its smooth conduct this time as well.
Garg extended best wishes to the pilgrims and expressed gratitude to the support teams for their assistance in facilitating the annual pilgrimage. (JKNS)
