Srinagar, Aug 29 (JKNS): In a significant milestone for healthcare in north Kashmir, Sub District Hospital Sopore has successfully conducted its first-ever CECT Cardiac/Coronary Angiography.
As per news agency JKNS, the procedure was carried out by the Radiology team headed by Dr. Sadia, with support from technologists Mudasir Bashir, Riyaz Ahmad (Incharge), Pir Samiullah, and Rayees Akbar.
Officials said the development marks a major step in strengthening diagnostic facilities at SDH Sopore and will reduce the need for patients to depend on tertiary care hospitals for specialized cardiac investigations.
The achievement has been widely appreciated, with officials extending congratulations to the Chief Medical Officer Baramulla, BMO Sopore, and the entire team for their efforts in introducing advanced diagnostic care at the sub-district level. (JKNS)
