BANDIPORA: In order to foster startup ideation and entrepreneurial spirit among the students, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) conducted a boot camp under the J&K Startup Idea Challenge at Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal, Bandipora on Saturday.
The boot camp was conducted by a three-member team from JKEDI, and witnessed the participation of around 100 students, showcasing their enthusiasm for exploring entrepreneurship as a viable career choice.
Out of these students, 20 participants pitched their startup ideas before the panel of designated experts from the college, executives of the J&K Bank, officials from District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Bandipora and officers/officials of JKEDI. The panel appreciated their creativity and provided constructive feedback.
The session concluded with an interactive exchange of ideas, where students received encouragement and insights from the distinguished panel.
