JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar today visited M A Stadium to review arrangements for the divisional level Independence Day celebration 2025.
DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua, DIG Traffic, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, SSP Security, heads of departments and senior officers of police and civil administration were present.
At the venue, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed preparations made by concerned departments, including seating arrangements, security, parking, entry gates, transportation for participants and citizens, power supply, drinking water, medical facilities, sanitation, decoration, toilets and other necessary arrangements.
Nodal officers from concerned departments were directed to ensure the best arrangements for the national festival, including waterproof tents, media gallery and parking signages.
The Traffic Department was asked to provide wide publicity to parking spots from where RTC buses will ferry citizens to the venue.
