BANDIPORA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Tuesday held an introductory meeting with district and sectoral officers to strengthen coordination, review departmental functioning, and chart a roadmap for improved public service delivery.
During the meeting, DC interacted with heads of all line departments, issued key directions, and sought detailed feedback on the prevailing work culture and sector-wise progress. She conducted a short department-wise review, emphasizing the need for professional work ethics, enhanced efficiency, and strict adherence to timelines.
DC assessed the status of ongoing developmental projects, particularly those in remote and far-flung areas such as Gurez Valley, and passed directions for speedy execution and completion before the onset of winter to ensure uninterrupted delivery of public services.
She urged officers to work with dedication, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that government schemes and welfare initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
Highlighting her vision for the district, DC reiterated that her role would be to give tangible shape to creative and innovative ideas from officers and stakeholders, translating them into practical actions for the benefit of the people.
The meeting concluded with a renewed call for a collaborative and result-oriented approach, with the DC assuring full support to officers in achieving developmental goals while upholding the highest standards of governance.
