inspected various kinds of facilities being provided to distressed women and children

He visited the Girls Home,Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)Library, One Stop Centre (OSC) and Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women ( SHEW) and inspected lodging, educational and recreational facilities at the Home and reviewed the women welfare initiatives at SHEW and OSC.

On the occasion,DC asked for complete implementation of welfare and development measures available for the distressed women at the centres and also called upon Home management to provide best possible facilities to the girls residing in the Home.

The home houses girls from disadvantageous communities who are being looked after by a team of officials round the clock where all lodging, educational, recreational facilities are provided to them while OSC provides One Stop solution to distressed and neglected women and SHEW extended awareness of women welfare initiatives.

DC took appraisal of the women welfare schemes and initiatives while interacting with staff and exhorted upon them to extend all help to the women facing harassment.Work dedicatedly for women empowerment and rights, he said to the staff.

On this occasion,staff and inmates and other attendants extended Rasha Bandan greetings and tied rakhi, celebrating the bond of love,protection and mutual respect.
