Poonch : A meeting of the District Development Council (DDC) Poonch was convened Friday at the Conference Hall of Dak Bungalow under the chairmanship of DDC Chairperson Tazeem Akhter.
The meeting witnessed the participation of key officers including District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Pankaj Magotra, ACR, ACP, ACD, along with all district officers and DDC Members.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the physical and financial progress made under the last year’s Capital Expenditure (Capex) budget and initiate discussions on formulating the action plan for the upcoming financial year 2025-26.
During the session, ADDC Pankaj Magotra welcomed the participants and presented a detailed overview of the progress made so far, using a PowerPoint presentation. The discussions focused on developmental priorities for the next financial year, with a strong emphasis on addressing local needs.
Various DDC members raised pertinent issues and demands related to their constituencies, highlighting concerns regarding ongoing and future development projects.
After a comprehensive discussion, DDC Chairperson Tazeem Akhter, in consultation with all DDC members, finalised the Annual Action Plan for the financial year 2025-26, ensuring that it aligns with both the needs of the people and the available resources.
