Srinagar, July 30 (JKNS): Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Northern Command, visited the general area of Dachigam on Wednesday to commend the troops for their resilient action and successful execution of Operation Mahadev.
Details available with news agency JKNS, the visit was aimed at personally complimenting and felicitating the personnel involved in the operation, which was carried out in Lidwas on July 28, 2025.
During the operation, three hardcore terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were neutralised in a coordinated effort by the Army, Jammu & Kashmir Police, and CRPF.
Lt Gen Sharma lauded the synergy between the security forces and intelligence agencies, which led to the swift and decisive outcome of the operation. (JKNS)
