Srinagar, July 28 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday congratulated security forces for killing three Pakistani terrorists during an anti-terror operation near Dachigam in Srinagar.
Speaking to media persons, LG Sinha, as per news agency JKNS, said, “Three Pakistani terrorists have been eliminated near Dachigam.
“What I will say about the operation will not be sufficient. The police and security forces can provide more details after the operation will be over, he said.”
Such operations have been ongoing for several months now, jointly carried out by the J&K Police, Army, and CRPF, in which terrorists are being eliminated, LG Sinha said.”
“However, there are many such operations that often go unnoticed, which actually save countless innocent lives, LG Sinha said.”
He extended his appreciation to the forces involved in the operation. “I congratulate the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and all the personnel who participated in this (Dachigam) operation,” Sinha added.
Earlier today, security forces recovered the bodies of three Pakistani terrorists along with a cache of arms, including a US-made carbine, an AK-47 rifle, 17 rifle grenades, and other materials, following a fierce encounter in the upper reaches of the Dachigam-Harwan area. (JKNS)
