Pahalgam, July 17 (JKNS): A person was killed while another sustained injuries in a road accident near Lidroo stop, close to the toll plaza in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that an Innova vehicle bearing registration number JK03M 8330, driven by an unknown person, met with an accident at Lidroo, resulting in on-the-spot death of one person and injuries to another.
The injured was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pahalgam for medical treatment, they added.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the cause of the accident. (JKNS)
