Srinagar, July 17 (JKNS): A 25-year-old non-local man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Wazir Bagh area of Srinagar on Thursday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Raju, son of Uk, a resident of Guwahati, Assam. He was working as a salesman at a shop near LD Hospital in Wazir Bagh.
Raju was found in an unconscious state and was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The cause of death remains unknown at this stage, official said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigations are underway. (JKNS)
