Rajouri, July 14 (JKNS): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri has issued a stern warning to clinical establishments in the district, prohibiting them from engaging government doctors and paramedical staff during official working hours.

According to a notice issued by Dr. M.L. Rehna, CMO Rajouri, a copy of which is available with news agency JKNS, the department has observed that certain clinics are employing the services of government healthcare staff during their official duty hours — a direct violation of service conduct rules.

“All proprietors of clinical establishments operating in District Rajouri are strictly directed not to engage any doctor or paramedic employed with the government during their official duty hours,” the notice reads. “Such engagement is deemed illegal and unethical.”

The notice further warns that strict action will be taken against violators under the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Rules. “If found indulging in this malpractice, the registration of the clinic may be cancelled without further notice,” it adds.

All concerned parties — including block medical officers, government medical college authorities, and proprietors of private clinics — have been instructed to comply with the directive in letter and spirit.

The directive has been widely circulated for public awareness and compliance. (JKNS)
