Baramulla, July 13 (JKNS): The Public Works Department (R&B), North Kashmir, has suspended a Junior Engineer and issued a show cause notice to a defaulting contractor in connection with alleged lapses in the Rafiabad (Watergam) Division.
According to an official order issued by the Chief Engineer, R&B North Kashmir, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, Junior Engineer Riyaz Ahmad Bhat of R&B Division Rafiabad (Watergam) has been placed. under suspension with immediate effect under Rule 31(2) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
During his suspension, the engineer will remain attached to the office of the Superintending Engineer, PWD R&B Circle Baramulla, reads the order. (JKNS)
