During his visit, he focused on the condition of roads and the status of macadamization projects in the area. He specifically reviewed the issues concerning the Lolab–Bandipora road and other key road links that are in dire need of repairs and upgradation.

Locals expressed their anger over delayed macadamization and poor road conditions, which they said have adversely affected mobility and access to essential services.

In direct interactions with residents, Sajid Yousuf Shah listened to various public concerns related to infrastructure, water supply, electricity, and other civic amenities. He assured the people that their grievances would be communicated to the concerned authorities and followed up at the appropriate levels to ensure timely resolution.

Speaking to the media, Sajid Yousuf reiterated the BJP’s commitment to development and grassroots outreach, adding that the party is actively working to bridge the gap between the administration and the people, especially in remote and underdeveloped areas like those in Kupwara.
