Srinagar: Srinagar recorded the second hottest day of the season on Friday as the maximum temperature touched 35.3°C, triggering discomfort across the Kashmir Valley under continued heatwave conditions.
As per details shared by Independent weather Channel Kashmir weather as per news agency JKNS stated that recorded a day temperature of 35.3°C, which was second highest of this season.
In other parts of the Valley, Qazigund recorded 34.4°C, Pahalgam 30.2°C, and Kupwara peaked at 35.4°C. Kokernag touched 33.4°C, while even the usually cool Gulmarg reported 26.0°C and Pahalgam 30.2°C (5.5°C AN.
Jammu district recorded 35.0°C (1.0°C Below Normal) Banihal 29.8°C (1.0°C AN) Batote 27.0°C (0.4°C BN) Bhaderwah 32.3°C (1.9°C BN) Katra 32.0°C (0.9°C BN).
In Ladakh, Leh recorded 31.0°C Kargil 35.4°C, he said. (JKNS)
