District Courts in Jammu Province to Follow Revised Office, Court Timings from July 7

Srinagar: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has issued a fresh notification announcing the revised working hours for all District Courts in the Jammu Province, effective from July 7, 2025.

According to Notificatin issued by the Registrar General (Officiating) M.K. Sharma, the District Courts shall operate as per the earlier notified schedule vide High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated May 22, 2020.

As per the new timing structure, Office Timing (District Courts of Jammu Division), 1st Session: 09:30 AM to 01:00 PM. Break: 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM. 2nd Session: 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM, Court Timing, 1st Session: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Break: 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM. 2nd Session: 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM, it reads.

The High Court has also withdrawn its earlier notification No. 1313 of 2025/RG/NG-03(I) dated April 8, 2025, which had outlined the previous timing arrangement for the district courts in Jammu. (JKNS)
