Srinagar, July 4 (JKNS): A 39-year-old devotee from Uttar Pradesh died due to a heart attack at Sheshnag along the Amarnath Yatra route on Friday.

An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Dilip Shrivastav, son of Gajraj Shrivastav, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

He suffered a cardiac arrest while on the pilgrimage and could not be revived despite immediate efforts by medical personnel stationed at the location, he said.
