Srinagar, July 3 (JKNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Health Department has placed Dr Ashfaq Hassan, In-Charge Block Medical Officer (BMO) Gool, under suspension pending an inquiry into his conduct.
In an official order issued by secretary health, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, Pending enquiry into his conduct, Dr. Ashfaq Hassan, I/C BMO Gool is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. During the period of suspension, he shall remain attached at CHC Basholi, Kathua, it reads.
Consequent upon above, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Malik, DHO Ramban shall look after the charge of BMO Gool, in addition to his own duties, till further orders, reads the order. (JKNS)
