Srinagar, June 29 (JKNS): One person lost his life while another was injured in a road accident during midnight hours at the Shalteng area of Srinagar.

Sources told news agency JKNS that both the injured were immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment. However, one among them, identified as Ajaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Shah Gund, Bandipora, succumbed to his injuries later in the morning.

The second person, who also hails from Shah Gund, Hajin, is currently undergoing treatment, they said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation started. (JKNS)
