Jammu, June 26 (JKNS): Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, participated in the Annual Urs of Peer Baba Syed Kunju Shah (RA) at Kunjwani, Jammu, on Wednesday.

During the event, she paid obeisance and reviewed the facilities developed by the Waqf Board for the devotees. Speaking to the gathering, Dr Andrabi stated, “Sufi saints are the beacons of light, teaching humanity the true essence of inclusivity and spirituality.”

She added that the Waqf Board is working around the clock to upgrade the facilities and provide a better experience for devotees across spiritual shrines in both divisions of the Union Territory. The efforts have been well received by the people attending the Urs, who expressed their satisfaction with the improvements.

Dr Andrabi was accompanied by Abid Hussain, Administrator of the J&K Waqf Board for Jammu, and other senior officials. The Annual Urs witnessed a significant turnout of devotees, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching gathering. (JKNS)
