Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have ordered a preliminary inquiry after a video surfaced on social media showing a man with a bare upper body, being paraded with slippers and kept on the bonnet of a police vehicle in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bakshi Nagar.

According to an official order issued by Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, the act by police personnel is deemed “unprofessional and unbecoming of members of a disciplined organization” and warrants stern departmental action.
