Srinagar : The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Saturday celebrated the International Yoga Day at High Court Complex, Srinagar, with high fervor and enthusiasm.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Justice High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Arun Palli.
The Chief Justice stressed upon all the participants to include Yoga in their daily life to remain physically and mentally fit. He emphasized that embracing Yoga as a way of life can significantly enhance judicial functions, boosting efficiency and effectiveness for Judicial Officers and all stakeholders.
Following the inauguration, all the participants collectively took part in Yoga sessions and Asanas (breathing techniques) under the guidance of trained instructors. The theme of this year’s Yoga Day was “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, which highlights Yoga’s role in fostering harmony among the individuals, communities and the environment.
The event was also graced by the presence of Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Justice Shahzad Azeem, Registrar General (Officiating) and Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, Registrar Vigilance, Member/Secretary J&K Legal Services Authority, Registrar Judicial Srinagar, Joint Registrar Judicial/Incharge Protocol Srinagar besides other officers and staff of the Srinagar Wing.
