Srinagar: Amid circulating misinformation on some social media platforms regarding the deferment of summer vacations, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a clear clarification.
According to a statement issued here, Dr. G.N. Itoo, Director School Education Kashmir, confirmed that *there is no change in the already notified summer vacation schedule*. The vacations will commence *as scheduled from June 23 to July 7, 2025*, across the summer zone schools of Kashmir Division.
“In response to the fake news being shared online, I want to clarify that the summer vacation stands as earlier announced. An official order bearing *No. 167-DSEK of 2025**, dated *June 21, 2025**, has been issued today to reaffirm the schedule,” Dr. Itoo stated.
The department urges the public and educational institutions not to pay heed to unverified information and to rely only on official communication channels for accurate updates.
