Vivek Bali stated “The escalating tensions in the region have put the lives of many innocent civilians at risk, including Indian students who had gone abroad to pursue their education and build a better future. Their families in India are deeply worried, and it is the moral and constitutional responsibility of the Government of India to ensure their immediate safety and safe return.”

He urged the Ministry of External Affairs to take urgent diplomatic and logistical measures to evacuate the stranded students safely, providing them with shelter, food, and communication facilities until they can be brought home.

Shri Bali also appealed to the Indian embassies in the Middle East to remain in constant touch with the students and their families, ensuring them all necessary support.

“We stand in solidarity with the students and their families during this critical time. The SBSP assures full support in amplifying their voices and working with relevant authorities to bring them back safely,” he added.

The SBSP calls upon all political parties and civil society to unite in this humanitarian cause and offer every possible assistance to safeguard the lives of our young citizens.
