B’gam Admin. bids farewell to outgoing DC Akshay Labroo

Budgam: District administration Budgam Friday organized a warm farewell function in honour of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Akshay Labroo, on his transfer to District Srinagar as the new Deputy Commissioner.
The function was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Budgam, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Budgam, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), all Tehsildars, Ex. Engineers, CMO, CEO, District heads of various line departments and officers and officials from various departments.
During the occasion, several senior officers shared their experiences of working under the leadership of Akshay Labroo, appreciating his commitment, efficiency, and people-centric approach. They remarked that he carried out his responsibilities with utmost sincerity, dedication, and professionalism, ensuring that all administrative tasks were handled effectively and within the set timelines. His ability to maintain transparency, responsiveness, and coordination among departments was widely acknowledged and praised.
Speaking at the farewell, Akshay Labroo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire district administration team for their constant support, dedication, and collaboration throughout his tenure in Budgam. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of officers at every level, stating that the achievements during his term were the result of collective efforts, not individual merit.
He also extended his sincere thanks to the people of Budgam for their warmth, trust, and cooperation. “The love and respect I received here will always remain close to my heart,” he said. “Budgam has been more than just a posting, it has been an enriching journey filled with learning, service, and human connection. I will always carry forward the lessons and experiences from this district,” he added.
