The event was held on the school campus, uniting students, staff, and wellness enthusiasts in a shared commitment to physical and mental well-being.

State Nodal Officer Ministry of AYUSH Dr. Arshad Iqbal was the special guest at the occasion. In his address, he applauded the institute’s dedication to promoting holistic health practices among the youth.

He emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into everyday life to combat modern lifestyle ailments and to foster mindfulness from an early age.

The session was led by Prof. Zahid Shah, a distinguished European Strength and Conditioning Coach, from Bosnia University.

A member of the Yoga Society of Kashmir, Prof. Shah brought a global perspective to the traditional discipline, blending modern athletic conditioning with ancient yogic wisdom.

“His dynamic instruction captivated the audience, offering insights into the strength-building potential of yoga while maintaining its essence of peace and discipline,” the school handout reads.

The program concluded with a collective yoga demonstration by the students and faculty, reflecting unity and wellness in motion.

“GVEI continues to take pride in hosting such enriching experiences, reinforcing its commitment to the holistic development of its students,” the handout reads.
