Ganderbal, June 11:(JKNS) Senior BJP leader and former District President of BJP Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of legendary Kashmiri folk music maestro Ustaad Ghulam Nabi Bulbul.
In his condolence message, Shah described Ustaad Bulbul as a towering figure in the world of Kashmiri folk music, whose voice and compositions brought the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir to life for generations. He highlighted the maestro’s lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting traditional Kashmiri music.
Shah shared a personal connection with the late artist, recalling their long-standing association during their time together at Doordarshan. “I had the privilege of knowing Ustaad Ghulam Nabi Bulbul for many years through our work in Doordarshan. He was not just a great artist but also a humble and kind human being,” Shah said.
He further added that the loss of such a legendary figure has created a void in the cultural landscape of Kashmir that will be hard to fill.
