Srinagar: A non-local labourer from Punjab died after being found unconscious in his rented accommodation in Natipora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday officals said.
They told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Banti Masi , a carpenter hailing from Gurdaspur, Punjab.
He was found unconscious inside his room at Stadium Colony, Natipora, and he was rushed to the SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (JKNS)
