Jammu, Jun 5 (JKNS): Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday visited the Chenab Bridge to assess the final preparations ahead of its formal inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.

The high-level visit focused on reviewing safety, structural readiness, and logistical arrangements at the site of the world’s highest railway bridge, which is a landmark component of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Line (USBRL) project.

Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh as per news agency JKNS wrote, “Last minute touches at the site of the inauguration of the world’s highest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, by PM Sh @narendramodi tomorrow. #JammuAndKashmir.” (JKNS)
