DIPR Cultural Unit Jammu presents street play on Hypertension at SDH Akhnoor

Jammu: The artists of the Cultural Wing of Information Department Jammu Tuesday staged an impactful Street Play (Nukkad Natak) in the premises of Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor to highlight the critical issue of Hypertension.
The Street Play aimed to raise public awareness about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of hypertension — a silent but serious health condition that is increasingly affecting people in Tuesday’s fast-paced world. Through engaging performances, the artists conveyed important messages in a simple and relatable manner, ensuring that people from all walks of life could understand and absorb the information.
While speaking on the occasion, Block Medical Officer Dr. Saleem Khan appreciated the commendable efforts of the Department of Information for organizing such informative and socially relevant events.
The programme was conducted under the directions of Joint Director Information Jammu, Deepak Dubey and under the supervision of Cultural Officer Jammu, Mukesh Kumar Sharma. The event received whole hearted support from Medical staff, Asha workers and the supportive staff of the hospital.
