JAMMU: SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu, in collaboration with Fire and Emergency Services department, conducted a Mock Drill Exercise at its Headquarters, here today.

A simulated scenario was created to demonstrate different types of disasters that may occur due to fire incidents & Structure Collapse etc.

The SDRF Team responded in the shortest possible time i.e 25 minutes and displayed a wonderful mock drill witnessed by Navy wing, Armed wing and about 150 civilians.

The team consisted of 35 SDRF personnel and 8 Fire men from fire and emergency Services.

The officers lauded the wonderful demonstration exhibited by the team and advised them to maintain the same level of enthusiasm during real-time disaster management situations. The event was attended by all officers from the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction (DMRRR) and SDRF.
