DSEJ Announces Summer vacations from June 7 to July 16 for Jammu division schools

Teachers to report on July 14; Online guidance mandatory during vacation

Jammu, May 31 (JKNS): The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Saturday announced 40-days summer vacation schedule for government and recognized private schools falling in the summer zones of Jammu division.

Vacation period for students
According to Order issued by DSEJ a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, all government and recognized private schools in the summer zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacation with effect from June 7 to July 16, 2025 for students.

The order further states that teaching staff shall report to their respective schools on July 14, 2025, for ensuring the readiness of schools for the return of students.

Staff have been asked to ensure cleanliness, preparation of Teaching Learning Material, lesson planning, time table planning, and facilities for online classes like ICT labs are fully arranged before students return.

The order mandates that all teachers shall remain available for any online guidance of students during the vacation period.

It further warns that any default on the part of the head of the school or teaching staff in complying with these directions shall attract action under rules.

It also directs the In-Charge Computer Section to upload the order on the official website of the Directorate for public access. (JKNS)
