DLRC/DLRAC meeting for Q4 of FY, 2024-25 held at Shopian

Shopian: To review the performance of financial institutions, sponsoring departments and Skill Training, District Level Review Committee cum District Consultative Committee (DLRC/DCC) and District Level RSETI Advisory Committee (DLRAC) meeting for Quarter 4th ended March 31, 2025 of FY 2024-25 of district was held today at Mini Secretariat, Shopian.
The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta.
Lead District Manager, Farooq Ahmad Dar at the outset presented the achievements of the district in deposits & advances, priority & non priority sector advances and CD Ratio. Against the financial target of Rs.2243.47 crores and physical target of 38543 beneficiaries under DCP 2024-25, the banks have disbursed Rs.1853.01 crores to 59162 beneficiaries during 2024-25, he apprised.
DDC took bank wise and department wise appraisal of financial and physical performance against the targets of lending for self employment, livelihood generation, social infrastructure, education, etc.
Progress under key government schemes like PMEGP, KCC, Mission Youth, JKREGP, Svandhi, NRLM, NULM, SUI and Social Security schemes was undertaken on the occasion comprehensively.
DDC took serious note of the underperformance of priority sector advances and asked for enhancing the priority sector lending in agriculture infrastructure, education, export credit, renewable energy and social infrastructure and asked them to speed up lending.
He also called for organising the result oriented awareness and outreach camps across the district for improving performance of enrollment under social security schemes and sponsorship cases.
On the occasion, DLRAC District Level RSETI Advisory Committee meeting was also held for 4th Quarter progress of the institute.
Director RSETI Shopian, informed that 33 training programmes have been conducted ending March, 2025 covering 1013 candidates, with 756 settled, among which 404 have availed credit linkage.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC, Dr.Zakir Hussain Faaz; Principal GDC, GM DIC, LDO RBI, DDM NABARD, CAO, DIO, Cluster Head J&K Bank, AD Fisheries, officers of line departments and representatives of banks and financial institutions.
