Kulgam: To review the implementation of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) in 12 tribal villages of the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday chaired a meeting of officers at the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, DC held a detailed discussion on the action plan for conducting an awareness campaign under the DAJGUA scheduled to be held from June 15 to June 30, 2025.
The campaign aims to achieve 100% saturation of all government schemes and beneficiary-oriented programmes at the grassroots level in tribal areas.
Addressing the meeting, DC emphasized the need for intensified efforts and inter-departmental coordination to ensure the effective implementation of the campaign.
He highlighted that the initiative is focused on uplifting tribal communities and promoting their holistic socio-economic development.
The DC directed officers to prepare a comprehensive schedule for conducting IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) cum beneficiary saturation camps in all 12 identified tribal villages.
He also instructed all line departments to carry out a thorough house-to-house survey based on gap analysis to gather essential data for better planning and execution.
The meeting was attended by JD Planning, AC Development, and other senior officers from the concerned departments.
