Karnah Kupwara: In a meaningful humanitarian outreach, TYCIA Foundation and Kamraz Asian Aid International Foundation (KAAIF), in collaboration with the Indian Army and with the vital support of GOONJ NGO, distributed 200 clothing kits to families affected by cross-border shelling in the Karnah sector of Kupwara district.

The relief efforts covered several border villages, including Baghbella, Shamaspora, and the Main Market area of Tangdar — regions that have endured repeated shelling and the resulting hardships. These areas, lying close to the Line of Control (LoC), continue to face severe challenges including displacement, loss of property, and economic strain.

This initiative aimed to provide immediate support and comfort to the affected families, many of whom have limited access to basic necessities. The distribution of clothing kits represents a strong gesture of solidarity with the civilian population living in high-risk zones.

The joint efforts of TYCIA Foundation, KAAIF, the Indian Army, and GOONJ highlight the critical role of coordination between civil society and defense forces in delivering timely aid and ensuring the welfare of marginalized communities in conflict-prone areas.

The organizations have reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing support and rehabilitation for the people of Karnah, pledging to continue such initiatives for sustainable relief and development.
