New School Timings Announced for Kashmir Division, Effective from May 26

Schools within Srinagar Municipal limits to operate from 8:30 to 2:30pm

Srinagar, May 22 (JKNS): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced revised school timings for all Government and recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from May 26, 2025, as per a fresh order issued on Thursday.

As per an official order issued by DSEK a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, schools falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will now operate from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, while schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar district and in other areas of Kashmir Province will follow the timing of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
