Kupwara : Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO) Kupwara in collaboration with District Administration Kupwara organized a Civil Defense Workshop for volunteer ex-servicemen at Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kupwara.
The aim of the workshop was to enhance and to facilitate appropriate response to emergencies such as Armed Conflict, Warfare, Natural Disaster or similar exigencies by using the experience of volunteer ex-servicemen.
In this regard, a list of volunteer ex-servicemen has been prepared to facilitate the timely deployment and operationalization of ex-servicemen security teams for watch and ward duties as and when required.
The aim is to ensure effective coordination with the District Administration Kupwara.
