Ramban, May 14 (JKNS): In a tragic incident, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Ramban, lost his life in a fatal road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Maroog on Wednesday.
An official told news agency JKNS Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Ramban, Prabhat Singh, lost his life.
The accident occurred as his secooty was hit by a oil tanker, official said.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot, but Singh had succumbed to injuries by the time help arrived.
Local authorities and police have taken cognizance of the incident. Further investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
His sudden demise has left the legal fraternity and district administration in deep mourning. (JKNS)
