Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia relief announced for families of deceased: CM Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Led Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) on Friday announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 10 lakh for the families of those who lost their lives recently, terming it a gesture of support and solidarity.

In a post on X, the party as per news agency JKNS wrote, “While no compensation can ever replace a loved one or heal the trauma caused to the family, as a gesture of support and solidarity, JKNC Government led by Honourable Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announces ex-gratia relief of Rs 10 lakh to be provided to families of all who have deceased.”
