No Leave to Be Sanctioned Amid Prevailing Situation, Except in Exceptional Cases: J&K Govt

Srinagar: The government has issued strict instructions to all departments, asking them not to sanction any kind of leave for employees due to the current situation, except under exceptional circumstances.

Jammu and Kashmir Government in a memo copy which lies with news agency JKNS, reads, “In view of the prevailing situation, the undersigned is directed to request all Administrative Secretaries and Heads of the Departments working under their administrative control not to sanction any kind of leave in favour of any employee, except under exceptional circumstances.”
