Delegations call on Dy CM at Civil Sectt Srinagar, raise their issues, concerns

Srinagar : Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Kumar Choudhary, on Monday met various delegations including scores of individuals at Civil Secretariat here and took stock of their issues and concerns.
The delegations included vocational instructors from Skill Development Department, JKI, ITI, Mechanical Engineering Association, District Ganderbal Contractors’ Association, Sericulture department besides several individuals who called on the Deputy Chief Minister and sought prompt redressal of their issues and concerns.
The issues mainly pertained to road connectivity, irregular water supply, enhanced electricity bills, pending payments, regularisation of daily wagers/ contractual staff and allotment of sufficient funds for payment of wages.
The deputations brought several issues before the Deputy Chief Minister concerning their respective areas and sought timely redressal of the same.
The Deputy Chief Minister, while interacting with the delegations, assured them that all their genuine issues and problems will be looked into for redressal at the earliest.
