Pahalgam Youth Dies in Tragic Workplace Accident in Haryana

Anantnag: A 25-year-old youth from Sofipora Wullarhama area of Pahalgam died in a tragic accident while working at a construction site in Rohtak, Haryana.

Sources told news agency JKNS that the deceased, identified as Muzaffar Hussain Dar, son of Mohammad Rafiq Dar, was working as a labourer when the incident took place.

They said Muzaffar was attempting to lift a machine to the top floor using a chain block when the equipment lost balance and collapsed, fatally injuring him. Despite swift rescue efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Officials have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary legal formalities.

Meanwhile, the President of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, Nasir Khuehami, appealed to the administration for immediate assistance in bringing the body back to Kashmir.

Responding to the appeal, CMO’s advisor and NC leader Nasir Aslam Wani said, “We are in touch with the authorities there to bring back the body” (JKNS)
